Urgent Care for Children is expanding to Montgomery and Chattanooga.

Urgent Care for Children will be expanding its reach once again into both Tennessee and Alabama.

The company plans to expand to Montgomery as well as Chattanooga, Tennessee. Theses locations will bring Urgent Care for Children to a total of eight facilities.

The Montgomery location will be at 1470 Taylor Road across from the Shoppes at EastChase. The location will be 2,800 square feet.

“Our team of physicians and staff are thrilled to begin providing quality care with less waiting to the city of Montgomery. It has become increasingly clear to us that pediatric patients need access to specialized care, even when their primary care provider is not available, in the after hours and on weekends,” said Urgent Care for Children Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Allury Arora.

The Chattanooga location will be at 5207 TN-153 Road, across from CHI Memorial Hospital and will have a total of 3,440 square feet.

According to the company, the Montgomery location will open in late November and the Chattanooga location is expected to open Dec. 1.

“Chattanooga has long been on our roadmap, and we are excited to be opening our first location in the area this fall," said Urgent Care for Children CEO Bannon Thorpe. "The growth and reception we have seen over the last two years is a testament to the value of pediatric specialization in the urgent care space, as well as the quality and passion of our physicians and staff. The new location will offer convenient access for our patients and their families, and we are happy to have the opportunity to provide care and an industry-best patient experience when primary care is not available."

The company opened its first location in Birmingham in 2017 and has been steadily expanding throughout the state ever since. Chattanooga as well as a Memphis location opening this fall will be the first clinics outside Alabama for the company.
