Oak Street Health increased its Chicago-area clinics to 10 this week when it opened its first Aurora location at a strip mall.
The healthcare provider moved into its new 9,100-square-foot northwest suburban site on Monday at the 30,000-square-foot Farnsworth Plaza, 1002-1048 N. Farnsworth Ave.
The lease expires in 2031, according to Willie Hoag of Tether Advisers, who represented Oak Street Health in the transaction.
The expansion into Aurora makes 22 Illinois clinics Oak Street Health now operates. The last Illinois location it opened was on Oct. 13 in Harwood Heights.
“We are excited to expand access to our high-quality, value-based care to members of the Aurora community with the opening of this new center,” said Ana Cesan, senior regional vice president at Oak Street Health., in a release. “As our organization continues its mission to rebuild healthcare as it should be, we look forward to improving patient outcomes in Illinois and helping older adults live their healthiest lives.”
